Richard Thomas CBE was appointed as a member of the Committee on Standards in Public Life on 17 May 2012.
Richard has previously held the roles of Information Commissioner, Trustee of the Whitehall & Industry Group, board member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals, and vice president of the Trading Standards Institute.
